Pages & Templates

If you are new in WordPress please read first about WordPress Pages.

Zetatube theme contains 5 custom page templates in order to use the zetatube – post types & taxonomies and yoast seo plugin on the homepage.

1. Performers Index

Before creating this page you have to understand zetatube performer taxonomy here.

To display all your performers in a page follow the instrcuctions:

  1. Click on “Pages” tab in the wp dashboard menu and hit “Add New”
  2. Give a name to your performers like girls, models or anything else and search for the “Page Attributes” dropdown which appears on the right side.
  3. Choose “Template Performers” and Publish your new page

2. Categories Index

To display all your categories in a page follow the instrcuctions:

  1. Click on “Pages” tab in the wp dashboard menu and hit “Add New”
  2. Give a name to your categories page like categories list, video categories or anything else and search for the “Page Attributes” dropdown which appears on the right side.
  3. Choose “Template Categories” and Publish your new page.

3. Channels Index

To display all your channels in a page follow the instrcuctions:

  1. Click on “Pages” tab in the wp dashboard menu and hit “Add New”
  2. Give a name to your categories page like categories list, video categories or anything else and search for the “Page Attributes” dropdown which appears on the right side.
  3. Choose “Template Channels” and Publish your new page.

 

4. Tags Cloud Page

To display the most popular tags in a page follow the instrcuctions:

  1. Click on “Pages” tab in the wp dashboard menu and hit “Add New”
  2. Give a name to your categories page like categories list, video categories or anything else and search for the “Page Attributes” dropdown which appears on the right side.
  3. Choose “Tag Cloud Template” and Publish your new page.

 

5. Videos I Page

This page is required, o display the videos liked by the current user in a page follow the instrcuctions:

  1. Click on “Pages” tab in the wp dashboard menu and hit “Add New”
  2. Give a name to your categories page like categories list, video categories or anything else and search for the “Page Attributes” dropdown which appears on the right side.
  3. Choose “Videos I Like” and Publish your new page.

 

6. Home Page Template

This page will give you a good seo result, because if you use any wordpress seo plugin like yoast, using this template you can give meta description and keywods to your site index.

  1. Install and activate a seo plugin on your wordpress (Recommended: Yoast SEO)
  2. Click on “Pages” tab in the wp dashboard menu and hit “Add New”
  3. Use your seo keyword on this page title and search for the “Page Attributes” dropdown which appears on the right side.
  4. Choose “Tags Template” and Publish your new page.
  5. Write a good description in the post content and complete all seo plugin fields, then save your page again.

6. Home Page Template

To set this page as a wordpress home page you have to jump to the WordPress > Settings > Reading section, change the option “Your homepage displays” from “Your latest posts “ to ” static page (select below) ” and select your page as your wordpress hompage in the drop down list.Leave the Posts Page blank.
