Videopack

If you are not satisfied with our mplayer plugin alternatively the Videopack plugin does a great job by adding several options to any video uploaded to the WordPress Media Library. If your video can be played natively in your browser, or if you have FFMPEG installed on your server (optional), you can generate thumbnails from your video. Using either the “Generate” or “Randomize” buttons will create a selection to choose from. Click “Insert into Post” and you’ll get a flexible, responsive video player.

If you provide multiple H.264 resolutions, Videopack can automatically select the one closest to the size of the player or a resolution of your choice, and provide a button for users to select the resolution manually. If FFMPEG is installed on your server Videopack can make the videos automatically.

POPCORN is fully compatible with Videopack plugin you don’t need to add shortcode or anything else to your content just upload the video normally and it will play using video-js.

If your Web server supports FFMPEG then this plugin generates video thumbnails automatically for each upload or embed code you post. For more details and instructions please go to Dashboard -> Settings -> Videopack -> FFMPEG Tab.

An Important option for our theme is called Attach thumbnails to: a field at the end of the settings page, change video to post in order to make it 100% compatible with POPCORN theme.
